Aldi’s first batch of new Warehouse Operative recruits will begin their 5 weeks training on Wednesday 3rd September 2014 and during this time we are going to follow employee Lisa Marsh on her new career journey with Aldi to see how they are getting on. Here is what Lisa had to say about the Baxter Personnel Aldi recruitment process and being offered her job:
“I'm really looking forward to starting at Aldi Goldthorpe distribution centre it’s going to be great. In the recruitment process so far, the contact and information I have had from Baxter Personnel has been fantastic. Sarah Leisner, the Recruitment Consultant I dealt with has been an absolute star and one of the most helpful and approachable people I’ve ever met.”
“I was so excited I couldn't contain myself when I got the phone call inviting me for the first interview as I knew so many people had applied. When I got to my interview I was very nervous and I was the first to be interviewed, but with other applicants present and in the same boat it made me feel at ease. Andrew Harrow, Baxter Personnel’s Managing Director and Darren who both interviewed me didn't faze me and I felt confident.”
“When I got the call from Sarah Leisner asking me to return for the second interview for the role I actually cried I was so pleased. Being the first interviewee that morning was both scary and exciting. Once I got there and got settled I felt at ease. Darren, Dave and Andrew were great.”
“I am now on countdown for my Aldi training which is only a few days away and I cannot wait to get started.”
Lisa will update us next week to let us know how her first week went and what the new Aldi Warehouse Operatives have been getting up to.
