After winning a contract to supply members of staff for supermarket giant Aldis new Goldthorpe based distribution centre, Baxter Personnel has been featured in numerous newspapers and websites that cover news throughout the Yorkshire region. Newspapers and websites that Baxter Personnel has been featured in include the Yorkshire Post and The Star.
The contract that has been described as “a massive win” by Baxter Personnel managing director Andrew Harrow is set to spark optimism among job seekers in both the North East of England where Baxter Personnel is based as well as the Yorkshire region where the new Aldi distribution centre will be located. The involvement of Baxter Personnel has created six additional jobs at Baxter Personnel’s Darlington based branch in the last nine months and is set to create more jobs as the business continues to grow with a view of opening a further branch in Yorkshire during 2014.
According to a quote from the Yorkshire Post, Liam Rafferty who awarded the contract to Baxter Personnel said that “We’re looking to engage with the local community to identify suitable candidates who want the opportunity to work for a successful and growing retailer.”
The article that has been featured on the front page of the Yorkshire Post goes on to further quote Barnsley council leader Sir Stephen Houghton who states that he is “very pleased” at the announcement. Sir Stephen Houghton further adds that “This is another example of international businesses thriving in Barnsley.”
Similar comments to those shared by Sir Stephen Houghton are echoed throughout the North East where Darlington recruitment firm Baxter Personnel shows first-hand what local businesses can offer to international businesses that operate in the region.
